Denise Richards’ husband Aaron Phypers files for divorce after 6 years together

DENISE Richards’ husband, Aaron Phypers, has filed for divorce.
He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for breaking up their marriage after six years together.
The Bravo reality star and her husband separated on July 4, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.
Phypers, who works at a healing center in Malibu, is seeking spousal support from Richards, the documents said.
The businessman claimed in the divorce papers that he and Richards’ monthly expenses cost $105,000 in total.
He requested that the former couple split their entertainment company evenly.
Neither Richards nor Phypers has spoken publicly about the split yet.
Phypers said in the papers that the pair doesn’t have any minor children together.
However, Phypers claimed in 2019 that he was in the process of adopting Richards’ third daughter, Eloise.
Richards first adopted Eloise, 14, as a single parent in 2011.
She also shares two adult daughters, Lola and Sami, with her ex-husband, actor Charlie Sheen, whom she was married to from 2002 to 2006.
The actress was said to be filming her latest Bravo reality show, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things, because she was “strapped for cash” after Sheen stopped paying child support.
Her family recently downsized from their multi-million dollar mansion into a rental apartment in Los Angeles, The U.S. Sun reported in April.
Richards’ new series premiered on Bravo on March 4, 2025.
It followed Richards, Phypers, and her three daughters as they navigated their family’s life in Hollywood.
On the show’s first episode, Richards said she would “never get divorced again” after being married to Phypers for over six years.
“Even if we hate each other, I’m not gonna f**king get divorced,” she said during a confessional.
Phypers added, “No, we’ll just have different homes or something. But we’re not gonna hate each other.”
The reality star previously appeared on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, which often highlighted her relationship with Phypers.
The former couple celebrated their sixth anniversary together in September.
Phypers wrote on Instagram at the time, “Happy anniversary to my sweetest love ! Thanks for always being there my beautiful wife ! Love you !”
Richards left RHOBH after Season 10 in 2020 after just two seasons.
Before her time on Bravo, Richards became known for modeling starring in films including Wild Things and Drop Dead Gorgeous.
She later starred on The Bold and the Beautiful.
